It is suspenseful, scary, and yet makes you think in the end. If you are looking for a jewel of a classic horror film to add to your collection, I highly recommend Gargoyles. Cornel Wilde delivers a great performance as always. I was about 12 or 13 but he was scary as hell. The first time I saw this movie the King gargoyle scared the bejesus out of me. A great horror movies from the 70s, a time when you were entertained by performances, make up, and scenery.
